Quartz sand filter material, as its name implies, is one of the main products of Quartz Sand Factory of Aviation I. Quartz sand filter material is mainly used to intercept suspended matter in water. There are many kinds of water purification filters. Quartz sand filter is the most common water purification filter at present. Quartz sand filter material is made by crushing, screening and washing natural quartz ore. During the production period, production is strictly carried out in accordance with the national standard CJ/T 43-2005 "Filter Material for Water Treatment". The main component of quartz sand filter material is SiO 2, which is a colourless transparent crystal. The quartz sand produced by our company is very uniform, Milky white, high mechanical strength, up to 100% silicon dioxide content, no impurities, strong contamination interception ability, stable chemical performance, easy to wash, long use period, moderate size of sand grains, very good permeability, is the ideal choice of water purification materials.
　　Quartz sand filter material mainly includes refined quartz sand and ordinary quartz sand. The refined quartz sand is the quartz sand which has been selected and processed. Compared with the ordinary quartz sand, the refined quartz sand is superior to the ordinary quartz sand in color, particle size and performance. Refined quartz sand is mainly used in pure water treatment. In sand filters, it is usually replaced in two to three years. After being polluted, the quartz sand covered by pollutants can no longer play a good filtering role, but can only be replaced. Ordinary quartz sand is mainly used in sewage treatment. It is no problem to use quartz sand for three or five years. As long as quartz sand is prevented from losing, it is not important to be polluted because sludge can be aerobically or anaerobically breathed in sewage treatment to degrade pollutants in sewage.
